Zipp 145 Carbon Stem - $250.00

The Zipp SL145 Carbon Stem lives up to the lofty standards of all Zipp products -- it's lightweight, stiff, and has strength to spare. It has a +/- 12 degree angle that effectively gives you a stem angle of 77.5 degree or 102.5 degree relative to the steerer tube. This isn't as aggressive as a 73 degree stem (i.e. parallel to the ground), but it allows you to get into a more aero position than the angle range (80 degree - 84 degree) provided by most other manufacturers (think Deda or FSA.) Zipp engineers created this stem to complement the rest of its race-worthy carbon cockpit offerings. And in harmony, it's been constructed with unidirectional carbon fiber, and it's also been clear coated to give it a lustrous beauty. The faceplate is hard-anodized aluminum for an enhanced level of security, and you'll also receive titanium hardware to secure for the faceplate and steerer tube attachment. And, in a display of no-expenses-spared, Zipp has sourced these bolts from the same Italian producer used by the Ducati MotoGP racing program. Additionally, the aforementioned carbon fiber is hand-wrapped, and as Zipp claims from an EFBe laboratory verification, it's the strongest all-carbon stem on the market. The Zipp SL145 Stem has a 31.8mm clamp diameter and it comes in six lengths from 80 to 130mm. It is designed to be compatible 1-1/8-inch steerer tubes, and when used with an included aluminum reducer sleeve, 1-inch steerer tubes. Please note that this stem does not include a top cap. - $250.00
