Exposure Strada Mk.3 Light - $213.85

Exposure Lights gave the Strada Mk.3 Light a special function that makes it a perfect for the courteous commuter -- the dip function. In the same way you'd dim your bright lights on a country road to avoid blinding oncoming cars, the Strada Light is configured to go from its 645 lumens high setting to a lower "dipped" mode with one push of its mode switch. This is a nice thing for other users on the bike path, but when you're in traffic or approaching an intersection, it's just as easy to go to your high beam so that you'll be seen by other drivers. The Strada Light is a self contained unit. That's the beauty of Exposure Lights -- no external batteries and no cords to tangle with. They package the rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries and the electronics that control the two ultra-powerful Cree XPG R5 emitters inside a CNC machined aluminum housing. At any point where two housing parts are threaded together, O-rings provide a positive seal to keep out all the elements. That Exposure Lights are weatherproof is no surprise because they're made in the U.K. by the same folks that make USE components, and the typical wet weather makes for great product testing in that regard. The Strada Light has what Exposure calls their Smart Port Technology Plus. Essentially, it's a cylindrical plug on the back of the lamp unit that allows you to insert the smart charger. But it also enables you to plug in accessories like additional white LED lamps to bolster the output or a red LED taillight to make you more visible from behind. It will automatically recognize each accessory and configure the system to take a charge or ...The dip function is perfect for the courteous bike commuter... power accessory lights. It's a simple matter of plug and play. You can also add piggyback battery packs to extend the run-time of the Strada Light. A remote switch is even available to create easier access for quick light control. With the built-in battery pack, the Strada Mk. - $213.85
