Arbor Wasteland Snowboard - 2012/2013 - $419.83

The advanced, directional-twin Arbor Wasteland flagship snowboard has a medium flex and offers powerful, all-around performance. System rocker design offers reliable, all-aspect performance in deep powder, tight trees, technical steeps and carvable groomers. Rocker-specific flex pattern enhances the ride on this de-cambered board, easing turns, spins and presses. Grip Tech sidecut makes 4 points of contact underfoot for improved and direct edge control; contact points create heel and toe pivot points for faster, more efficient turning. Ultralight Paulownia wood is added to the poplar core to increase tensile strength and durability while maximizing weight reduction. Certified by the Forest Stewardship Council for sustainable production, this is the lightest weight and most technical core from Arbor for mountain and park riding. Inlaid wood power plies act like a third layer of fiberglass to structurally enhance the board for added return and improved durability; it also creates a one-of-a-kind look. Kevlar(R)/carbon-reinforced tips add important landing durability and tip and tail pop; made just for big park and backcountry level performance. Topsheet features a protective ultrathin finish, made from a castor-bean-based bio-plastic, that guards against damage caused by loose bindings and unforeseen impacts. ABS/urethane blend sidewall construction provides maximum durability and excellent edge control. Blending biaxial and triaxial fiberglass provides a complete web of protection and stable, balanced flex. Board's core profile is slightly thinner and tapered in between the bindings to enhance mountain and park performance. With a high molecular weight, the wax-infused sintered base provides unmatched durability and speed. Built with 60% recycled steel edges for maximum durability and performance.
