686 Times NB 1971 Speedlace Snowboard Boots - 2012/2013 - $131.83

The new Times NB 1971 Speedlace boots are a collaboration between 686 and New Balance. These lightweight boots eliminate anything unnecessary in order to maximize boot-to-board response. Times NB 1971 boots provide high stability and superior flex while maintaining a low profile. Tighten laces to your preference with the fast and easy single-grip lace system; laces cross over the instep area of the boots to provide optimal heel hold. Laces glide through metal lace guides; Quick-Strike rip-and-stick straps secure boot cuffs around calves and adjust easily. Relaxed-fit forefoot area allows feet to expand naturally on impact; low-profile footprint provides a sneakerlike fit. Lightweight thermoplastic urethane reinforcements add durable structure to the boots and relieve binding pressure. Pure EVA outsoles are constructed to optimize cushioning while providing as direct a connection to the board as possible; aggressive tread provides easy trekking on the snow. DynaLite(TM) liners have a tailored fit that allows a compact footprint and provides exceptional board feel without sacrificing stability. Engineered open-cell polyurethane (PU) foam cuffs reduce pressure around calves; rip-and-stick locks keep tongues in position. PU foam C-pads adjust themselves to the shape of the ankles to provide optimal heel fit and shield the ankle bones from unwanted pressure. ABZORB(R) cushioned footbeds provide a superior blend of cushioning, compression and arch support; high-friction surface prevents slippage. MInimal liner lace system is fast, easy and lightweight. - $131.83
